Festivals in France are event for readers. Publishers come on festival with bus and some of authors in order to make promotion on their brand name, on the catalogue and on the books. It's a way to present new books and new authors. Authors are here to make draws on books and meeting readers. There's a kind of readers who are here to increase their book and signing collection. Another people are here to discover new stuff only by curiosity and to have a moment with authors and have "coup de c?ur" (blow of heart) for a book.

So the St Malo festival was from the October 28th to the October 30.The first numbers are counting more than 40 000 visitors for this days.

WWW.OKCOMIC.NET's friend Editions Paquet has joined the St Malo Comics Festival recently ， Editions Paquet came with a staff of 30 authors. They have an international author team. And for this festival they came with 1 inhabitant of Quebec , two German, 5 Spanish, 1 Italian and 1 Swiss...

You can say that festivals in French are period for authors to meet them, be together, sharing experience, idea, point of view, expectations... and have fun together.
