"Chicken Little," "Tim Burton's Corpse Bride," "Howl's Moving Castle," "Madagascar" and "Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit" were nominated Sunday for Best Animated Feature by the Broadcast Film Critics' Association for its Critics' Choice Awards.
Western romantic drama Brokeback Mountain had the most nominations for the 11th annual awards: eight, including Best Picture, Best Actor (Heath Ledger) and Best Director (Ang Lee).
The drama Crash had six nominations, including Best Picture, Best Director (Paul Haggis) and Best Supporting Actor (Matt Dillon).
Rounding out the Best Picture nominations were Capote, Cinderella Man, The Constant Gardener, Good Night, and Good Luck, King Kong, Memoirs of a Geisha, Munich and Walk the Line.
Nominees were voted on BFCA's 200 members. The largest film critics' organization in the United States and Canada, the association represents TV, radio and online critics.
The Critics' Choice Awards in 19 categories will be presented January 9 at the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.
