NHK and JoongAng Ilbo mention the Shoujo Janggeum no Yume TV animation will air in Japan in April 2006. The acquistion marks the most money paid for a Korean Animation license to date. Although the actual figure has not been revealed, JoongAng Ilbo interviewed someone related to the MBC contents project team who said the amount of money was not inferior to exports of drama TV series. Additionally it was hinted the prictag rose to three times of the existing average animation export price. Plans are already underway to distribute the series throughout Asia.
