In order to improve the creative ability of the drawer, spark plug the dietetic science, and promote the idea of the healthy life of people, the China comics' information web (www.okcomic.net) associating with the “dietetic science” magazine will put on a “Comics Competition about “Dietetic Science”. So now we are collecting the comic works from all the cartoonists and animators. Please pay attention to the latest information of the China comics' information web. We'd like to communicate with you through the paper media and the internet: providing the opportunity to publish your works, discovering and propagandizing the rising stars in the comic field and making friends with all the comic fans. We hope that all the comic fans all over the world and the people who support the industrialization of China's comics could join us and contribute according to the requirements. Then we'll recommend the works that meet the requirements to be published on the internet, newspapers and magazines.

4. Requirements:
[1]. All the people who are interested in comics could take part in with no restriction of age, district and gender.
[2]. Form of the contribution:
The contributions should be created by your own, and have never been published on any kind of media before(including the internet). Anyone who plagiarizes will be disqualified.
There is no restriction of the form and style. Both single piece and multi grid are ok (it should be no more than 4 grids). Both black and white works and colored ones are welcomed.

Standards:
The works should be done with A4 paper. Besides your works, you should enclose your resumes or the filled competition form.
The standards of the works sent by E-mail: resolution ratio: no less than 200dpi; the longest side: 1000pels; the quality of compression: 10 is the best.
The title of the mail should be: The contribution of the Comics Competition about “Dietetic Science” (饮食健康大赛投稿).
The title of your work together with your name, address and any other ways that we could connect you should be point out in the body of your mail.
[3]. The procedure of examining and approving manuscripts:
All the works will be evaluate by the selecting committee, and the selected good ones are to be published both on the magazine and internet.
The place of the selected works in the competition will be determined by selecting committee, which is composed of experts. The “Dietetic Science” magazine together with the China comics’ information web will announce the name list of the prize-winning works and award the prize and the testimonial to the winners.
The contributions will be shown on the China comics’ information web over a long period of time.

The first prize: one people, with the prize of 800 RMB. We’ll award a testimonial.
The second prize: two people, with the prize of 300 RMB each. We’ll award a testimonial respectively.
The third prize: three people, with the prize of 100 RMB each. We’ll award a testimonial respectively.
The excellent works: fifty people. We’ll award a testimonial respectively.
All the selected works could be published on the “Dietetic Science” magazine and the China comics’ information web.
[5]. The way to select the prize-winning works:
The selecting committee will select the prize-winning works in accordance with the results of the vote both from the “readers questionnaire” of the “Dietetic Science” magazine and the China comics’ information web.
[6]. The statement of copyright:
The host unit has the right to publish all the contributions. The proprietary right of the collected works belongs to the host unit, while the authors only have the right to sign their names if their works were published. All the contributions should not be expected to return. The selecting committee has the right to interpret all the items above.
